Using Study Rooms
Individual Study Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are located on the first and second floors.
Group Study Rooms:
LSUS students may reserve study rooms up to two weeks in advance using an LSUS email address OR study rooms may be requested on-demand. Reservations and requests must be made using the library’s room-management software. Click here to access page.
You must confirm your reservation through your LSUS e-mail within 24 hours or your booking will be canceled.
Rooms are kept locked and keys must be checked out at the nearby service desks using picture ID (First Floor see Circulation. Second Floor see Microforms and Media). Only the individual whose name is listed as requesting the room may check out the key. This person is responsible for ensuring the room and equipment is left in good condition and the key is returned.
- Group study rooms are designed to be used by 2 or people.
- Room check-outs are booked in increments of 30 minutes. Check outs are limited to 120 minutes per day over 2 sessions.
