Copying

Self-service:

$.10 page (8 ½" x 11", 8 ½" x 14", 11" x 17", microprints)

Staff-produced photocopying:

Available up to a maximum 100 pages.
Charges for microfilming will be provided on a case-by-case basis.

Staff-produced from books/journals with call numbers and typescript documents:

$.30 page (8 ½" x 11", 8 ½" x 14")
$.50 page (11" x 17")

Staff-produced copies of manuscript materials:

$ .50 page (8 ½" x 11", 8 ½" x 14")
$ .70 page (11" x 17")

Staff-produced copies from microforms:

$ .80 page

Digitized (staff-produced only): E-mail, CD, or USB drive

  • Item under 8 ½" x 14" - $10.00/item
  • Item over 8 ½" x 14" - $10.00/item plus a $10.00 set-up fee (300ppi maximum resolution)
  • Printed on regular paper - additional $1.00/print (8 ½" x 11")
  • Printed on photographic paper - additional $2.00/print (8 ½" x 11")

Standard resolution for scanned images is 300ppi for originals 4"x5" and larger; 1200ppi for originals smaller than 4"x5".

Digitized U-matic, Beta, and VHS videotape (contract vendor only):

Cost determined by individual project estimate. Minimum Charge $25.00


Custom scanning:

Flatbed scanners: 

  • 600ppi - 4500ppi originals 4"x5" or larger: $25.00/item
  • 1400ppi - 4500ppi originals smaller than 4"x5": $25.00/item

Planetary scanner:

Books, ledgers, maps, architectural drawings, and other oversized items that cannot be scanned on a flatbed scanner: $75.00 for the first hour, $25.00 after the first hour.



Mailing of Copies:

Minimum charge for copies to be mailed: $10.00
Postage and handling: $5.00 on copy orders exceeding the minimum charge
All requests must be paid in advance.
